We don't have the players for 3-4 defense........first Star is to small of NT for 3-4 line and our OLB  don't have the length and skills ...........we are built for 4-3 and should build on it!

I noticed him hit Eddie Lacy in the backfield like a bat outta hell, and was like damn Luke is a beast! Only it was Klein, that 56 had me thinking it was 59, then I was like, oh hell yeah! I was impressed with him to be sure, and the fact that Jeremy not only also noticed, but created a thread means we're not the only ones that noticed.

We have Steve Smith, Jordan Gross, and Jon Beason coming off the books next year too. That's right. We are still paying all of those guys in terms of cap space.

I like AJ, he's always been good in the run game. What he struggles with is those speed running backs on pass routes. He can't keep up. Not many can.

We still have a great foundation to build around on defense. However, the secondary is a train wreck. I would cut every players except Bene and Josh Norman. Possibly keep DeCoud for depth purposes.

 

If we lose Hardy we should have a little money to play around with.

 

 

One things for certain,Harper and Godfrey need to be history as soon as possible.Both are to slow in their  reaction and speed of movement.

They may be good 4-3 LB's, but there is a different build and playing style for 3-4 LB's. Not that easy to switch over as the Aint's (Saint's)

Klein is so slow. Kuechly is often on the other side of the field than Klein and will still manage to get to the ball carrier faster than Klein does.

Yeah Klein is a beast we need a Von Miller type to eventually replace TD

The issue with Klien is that he is more suited for the MLB position and not so,at the OLB position because he becomes a liability for the team whenever he reverts back to that role.so,the real question is how do you put him in a position to succeed and and utilize his strengths?
