Skipping Madden 2010

Played it with my girlfriend's nephew this past week. His mom bought it for him.

Game scores were in the 70s and 80s, and every score but one or two was on big plays of 50 to 75 yards or more (both passes and runs from scrimmage).

If this is typical of gameplay, I'll skip it. I prefer a game that looks at least remotely realistic.

There is a lot of really dumb long plays in this game. I've intercepted about 20 passes and ran 19 of them back for TD's. This is the first Madden I've played since the year after the Panthers were in the SB. It's just ok to me. Panther's are bad ass though.

Not too bad, I do custom sliders because against AI you can completely shut down there running game. Move the sliders for each category to make it the most realistic compared to your gameplay ability.

It's not bad, it's not orgasmic either but it's more than a roster update.

And always tweaking it, making it harder as you go...

    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
    • Definitely epic tv..... A man who wont cheat for a poke dont want one bad enough.
