Michael Irvin thinks we're the team set for the playoffs

This entire article is taken down if the Panhers win tonight as the "experts" begin a mad scramble to retake some credibility.

Said a similar thing about the AFCE and the Patriots.  Right now everyone saying New England is a sure thing.  They play Denver at home this week and have a rough stretch coming.  If they lose one game the AFCE will be up for grabs.  If they lose two in close proximity then the AFCE is going to be 'shaken up' or 'turned upside down' or some media type cliche sounding catch phrase.

Same thing with the Panthers.  Look how they all were scratching their heads over New Orleans rough start.  Trying to make excuses for it.  Then they win a few and suddenly Mark Ingram is going to break out, Cooks is the most dynamic offensive rookie, Brees is back on track and all of these really feel good stories.  They're no longer underdogs to cheer for they're darlings to admire.  The Panthers are the role of underdog, underachievers destined to overachieve as soon as they beat a better opponent and a team that can really play when all the cards are lined up.

It's just common story line after common story line in the league.  The Panthers are usually on the outside looking in because the Saints have been good for a while.  Not that the Panthers haven't - they just do not have the clout that is given to the Saints.

Edit: Hell, the biggest joke is San Diego.  A damn good team, the best in the league they said last month now off a two game rough spot and they are not the dog against Miami!?  Come on, that's some weak stuff there.  They're a better team then Miami but every dog has its day and Miami could win.  They shouldn't, though.

Love the huddle.

Bitch when the media says negative things about the Panthers.

Bitch when the media does not mention the Panthers.

Now bitch when the media says something positive about the panthers.

I swear many on here are lacking when it cones to firing synapses.

You're singling out Cam? Wut?

Yes, it's his fault that Irving sacked him twice in a row on the final drive. Yes, its his fault that Cotchery dropped the game winning TD. Yes, it's his fault that Shula isn't a competent playcaller. Yes, its his fault that our defense is surrendering 27+ points a game. Yes, it his fault that his OL can't block.

Give me a break. Has Cam appeared flustered and inconsistent? Yep. That tends to happen when your supporting cast is subpar. Has Cam singlehandedly cost us games?

Cam has cost us so many games by simply not throwing the ball away, oh and how about that shuttle pass that got picked off last week as well because he refused to throw it away. Hes a terrible decision maker

He's thinking of last season's team...

And that the Seahawk team we played last week was last years team too

That said, NO is so bad on the road it is hard to pick them too. Coin flip IMO between who wins the division.....and it won't be won with a winning record IMO

He can't afford to make all safe decisions.....our offense and team isn't good enough

Betting on this game is laughable.

Irving is right, simply cause our defense has had games where they showed up.

Saints are still trying to figure out what defense means.

Cam not throwing the ball away drives me crazy!!

He also never just throws the ball up and let the receiver go after it.

These things continue to hold our offense back, regardless who the OC is.

If Cam threw the ball away every time he faced real pressure and no one was open.....we would have had a losing record last year.

Can't have it both ways. He is gonna take a loss occassionaly....that is what you have to accept as trade off for all the amazing 3rd downs that have no shot, highlight plays etc
