The offense sucked for 58 minutes of the game.Cam and co. lit it up on the final drive to win and take them to the playoffs. Not to give him the chance to prove his worth again is a crime. I have no doubt that with them stacking the box against the run, passing the ball would have provided the first down needed. God only knows what the players are saying in the locker room when Rivera walks out the door.

I have the feeling that Ron literally leaves every aspect of the decision making on offense to Shula, including challenges, etc.

Not sure but I think RR is ultimately responsible for this.

 

Anyway, Shula called two pass plays that went for scores.  His quota is filled for the month.

Ron Rivera said he discussed it with his staff.  Shula called the plays but Rivera instructed him to run the ball and force them to take timeouts.

We need an Offensive Coordinator that plays to Cam's talents. If we don't can Shula in the off-season I'm going to be very skeptical of the FO going forward.
