And possibly a violation of his terms of reinstatement: PFT

Dungy has already hammered him for it, and it may delay his reinstatement by Goodell.

Taking a chance like that when your reinstatement has been a long time in the works and terms are still up in the air pretty much proves the person taking such chances is...

A) Stupid

B) Arrogant

C) Disingenuous

D) All of the Above

Sipping a vodka & juice is hardly "Excessive Use" He wasn't pounding shot after shot.

It should have No bearing on his re-instatement.

His crime wasn't alcohol related I could see it being a problem if it was.

Yeah you can't do that Mike because people are going to use it as ammunition against you.

People need to relax

And so, once again, the issue here isn't whether having a cocktail might prompt Vick to redevelop a hankering for hanging a few pit bulls. Surely, it won't. But the deeper question is whether Vick appreciates the gravity of his current circumstances.

Frankly, we're still not sure that he does.

      I never thought a second look was even necessary. I was begging the football gods not to have us trade up to the 1st pick. And damn once we did it was a thoroughbred vs a little pony.    If you have a perceived generational player in the pool and you have the 1st pick, you just don’t trade it. In the first place. But all this Bryce drama - which (understandably) takes over almost any thread, just like this one - would never have happened if the team was not sold to Tepper.

      I agree. I understand why he did though. And surely he had his parents in his ear who have always gone out of their way to make sure he always had the best and the least amount of adversity around him to that point in his life advising him to do so. Where I take the most issue with it is when people who just want to be sycophants start listing off other QB's who didn't throw at the combine and you don't even make it through half the names before your eyes roll right into the back of your head realizing every single of those QB's who didn't throw already clearly showcased the necessary prerequisite physical talents needed for the position.
