I think my kid has Measles...

Last week he had a runny nose, then caugh, then fever and last night he came back home from daycare covered in red bumps all over his body...  We took him to doctor on Tuesday and doctor said he's ok... apparently doctor missed all the red flags and misdiagnosed my kid.  We're taking him back to doctor today.

The only place he could of got it is daycare...  Looking at the chart below, it looks like it's an outbreak...  Most people get vaccines at 1 and 4 and should be ok.  Kids under 1 year old are danger of getting this crap.  Add North Carolina to this list.

Not measles... Some other viral infection. They don't know what.

Have them test him for strep throat. I know it sounds strange, but as a child I had an allergic reaction to strep throat and my symptoms were exactly those and initially the docs had no idea what it was.

Agree with this post. As a kid i had strep throat atleast 5 times and with each one came a red rash that covered my chest (small red bumps everwhere) making me itch. Eventually it would lead to me  having a sore throat, fever, and coughing. Only real treatment is antibiotics. It's one of those things that your own immune system has to fight.

Daycare is the most disgusting place in the world and babies are extremely nasty. I can go a decade without getting sick then be near a baby for one hour and be near death the following weeks.

i bet you are everyone's favorite santa at christmas

    • I mean, I alluded to it when we signed him. It might be different if he was old and washed up, but he's not. Sickness and suffering will never ever allow you to be your best. Eclipse that and if one has the talent and inclination to thrive, the sky's the limit.
    • Renfrow makes the team and becomes part of the rotation-- then he plays well.  Gets NFL comeback player of the year.  You all cheer.  When I say, "I called this in June."  You will say "Pic or it didn't happen."  I will say, "you all disgust me because you are too mired in mediocrity to see my brilliance."  You will give me a poo emoji because that is how you treat greatness.   OK, I'm back.
    • I did a little research. I think that it's hard to say that we're a traditionally "small-market" team anymore. Technicalities aside, our fan base is certainly not as popular as some others (lots of fans from different fan bases can probably argue that though), but the Panthers do have a solid and committed following if you look at things like home attendance and---fascinatingly---social media digital presence (e.g., back in 2023 there were three million followers of the Panthers on Twitter, ranking them #5). It's just hard to get exact, up-to-date numbers because much of the relevant information is not forthcoming, but suffice it to say that winning changes things, even if temporarily. Even if the fan base is smaller, it certainly seems to make a lot of noise. We just need to win. On an off note, Tet McMillan has fairly strong rookie jersey sales. Between him, Bryce and Legette, maybe the fan base will grow a little.
