"The Prophecy with bigger actors, better special effects and fight scenes" was my fist thought.

Slightly different twist on the threat, and Michael the Archangel as the primary hero rather than a lesser known angel, but still using Gabriel as a baddie (wonder why people think Gabriel makes a good villain) :sosp:

Referring to the overall cast, outside of Walken most of the original Prophecy cast were lesser knowns (at least at the time, Viggo Mortensen has gone boom since then).

I'll grant that none of them have Walken's dance skills.

You have to admit though, that Charles Dutton blasting an old lady with a shotgun while Dennis Quaid yells, "Shoot her!" is hilariously awesome. My guess is there's a plot twist and the girl's baby is the antichrist.
