Lol funny he would start in both games against the Bucs. He'd be a starter on a couple teams in the nfl and he's an amazing back up. We'll probably win easily

Why will we win easily?

Tampa played about as bad as they could for 3 quarters.....and still almost had us.

New Orleans got people forgetting what we are this year

Webb hasn't practiced at QB in over a month.

That's news to me. I knew we got him because we were unsure of Cams health in the preseason. Just assumed that he could be a viable future backup QB that could run the offense exactly like Cam if Cam did get hurt (being that he is younger than DA and close in physical size/weight/athleticism)

This particular game would have been perfect for that to happen: Cam may not be able to play safely for the next two games, it's against one of the worst teams and it's in Charlotte, DA could come in if Webb started playing bad.

But I have no problem with DA starting the rest of the season, maybe getting us into the playoffs, and Cam coming back fresh and moderately healthy to beat the Cowboys.

Let's keep in mind that DA had a great game against the Bucs he threw for 221 yards and a 70% completion rate. If it weren't for some dropped passes to wide open guys it would have been closer to 75%. He is actually the better option to play a defense which requires patience and throwing into small windows. What he lacks in rushing ability he makes up for with accuracy and getting the ball out quickly and taking what the defense is giving him.

And no I am not saying he is better than Cam simply that against some type of defenses he might be just as effective.

that isn't how I remember it. It was their home opener under a new coach and they played fired up. Their struggles were more about us beating them than their playing poorly. Our defense played very well and the offense was good which is expected in week 1.
