Hornets Losing Fans because of T-Shirts

I love how the KKK can have rallies, marches, and express their opinions but when players wear a T shirt people are offended??

The KKK does not have rallies at their place of employment while they are working. There's a difference in voicing your opinion and having rallies during your free time and doing it while you're working. That's the problem some people have with it. I think some just want politics and civil rights issues left out of sports.

They have rallies and marches in public places forcing their beliefs on people.. I don't see them staying at their trailor park doing it.

How is that different form what the players are doing??

They are doing it in public, on their own time.

Players are doing it at work, while they are being paid.

There's a difference. Your right to "freedom of speech" does not include while you are at work.

It was a lay up line just like practice not a game. Plus freedom of speech counts every where.

We are talking about fans having problems with players expressing their opinion. The fans are the issue here. Players are allowed to have freedom of speech just like the KKK. The fans need to see as that and move on..

Wrong, but I'm not gonna argue with stupidity.

I found the shirts fitting because it's how I feel when watching our team trying to play basketball.

As far as the fans claiming they won't ever support us again... They're full of poo, and if they're not, then they're just racists pieces of poo, either way they won't be missed. Good fuging riddance you old ass degenerates.

So you would have no objection if a player wore a KKK t-shirt during warm-ups?

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
