I love all the people here talking about Iverson like they know the man. I don't either, but I am not vouching for his character. I can say from what I have seen that AI has matured a TON since he entered the league and now recognizes that he has unfinished business with the coach that he didn't appreciate as much as he should have when he had him. After going through several coaching disasters, AI now knows that finding a truthful and honest coach that just wants you to play hard and earn your minutes and teach you the game is all you can ask for as a player.

Iverson's lack of "leadership" is being T-O-T-A-L-L-Y totally overblown. He is a leader by example. He plays harder than anybody in the game. He's the toughest pound for pound player in NBA history.

Even after being dismissed as having a terrible year last year, he still had 17.5 points per game.

All of this is likely moot anyways as the Grizzlies have made a strong offer for Iverson and made it formal. Both sides have confirmed its there. He'll be a Grizz by Monday.

Some people were saying this about Brown before he got here. Fact is, Brown is the best at what he does. Put your faith in Brown, give him time. Hopefully AI wont be a Grizz, I expect he wants to be a Bobcat, given the things that have been done to this team in the past 2 years. If AI does not work out, ok...we will get someone in here that provides that goto guy. It interesting what this makeover has done for the franchise.

So did Iverson like die or something? What the hell is going on?!?!?!

Rumor is Memphis has an offer on the table of one year, 3.5 million but he will have to be prepared to come of the bench. They said they will leave it open for two to three weeks but remove it before the end the month.

Iverson is now seeing if anybody else will beat that so all is quiet right now.

Yeah AI is goin to Memphis. LOL, its a damn shame its come to this for him. Dude is stuck with signing with the Grizz for 3.5 mill. If he wasnt so proud he could've gone to a contender and played off the bench for a year to boost his stock back up. Now he's gonna be playing with young guys like Mayo & Conley, and team cancers like Zach Randolph for a losing organization. Memphis will sell more tickets, but in the long run I dont see this move improving them much.

      Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.

      I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
