The book was really good. 

 

I expect to be a little let down by the movie, sort of like Lone Survivor and We Were Soldiers. I'm not a big fan of giving it the Hollywood ending just because it's what's expected.

I love snipers. Those guys were great at having our backs. Even if it's only 40% true it'll be good for the public to see what they do for us.

Lone Survivor was great, but We Were Soldiers WAS a bit of a letdown.

 

This looks pretty good and Cooper is excellent usually.   I don't think this movie is going to be a military movie though, but more about a person at the inner level, from what I see.

I was referring to the Hollywood ending vs the ending in the book. The bayonet charge at the end of the movie never happened.
