Once again... Read my op....I said "one day" ....Jesus f'n Christ.

Look at the rare elite CBs....

Norman is 3 yrs in and hasn't even put in a full season.

I think he can become a good CB and hopefully be a reliable starter. Until he gets there....it is just a lot of talk when talking about the Sherman's and Revis of the NFL. That is rare stuff. 5 game windows? That isn't rare

This kids gonna be the best CB in the league one day , and when he is all you bitchin pussies are gonna have your nose so far in his jock you'll know what he had for lunch when he farts.

But of course by then you will all be like " been a fan since day one "

Seen it too many times on this board. Half of you shits couldn't evaluate porn talent at a strip club.

PS: Sherman is one of the biggest poo talkers in the league, but you shits and ESPN will give him a pass if he called your mom a slut.

/rant.

Josh Norman has been garbage for the majority of his time as a Carolina Panther, I'm not apologizing for being critical of him. He sucked plain and simple. Glad to see he's playing well now, but please don't act like the guy's been a super star from day one.

He is going to command big bucks. Sad thing is this will be about the time we need to anty up for Luke. I hope Dave has a plan because it is going to suck if spend all that time grooming him to be the very best and about the time he does. We lose him. That would really suck.

For everybody's info, the kid is 27 years old. I like him and believe that he's going to be good, but he definitely isn't a kid. Just saying.

Hey compared to some people on the board that is downright youthful.

Cough scot cough

No offense

    • And really, it should be 4 reasons with the last one being that there were ZERO other offensive weapons on that team in 2024, opposing defenses only had to worry about one player all year long and they constantly double and triple teamed him right off the snap all season.  In 2023, we still had Jacob Cowing who had 90 catches that year and was drafted by the 49ers last year, so teams couldn't just send everyone after T-Mac on every passing down.
    • I wonder if the Hornets view Kon and McNeeley more as forwards and plan to ship off Green/Okogie/Smith for center help. I hope they don’t plan to ship off Sexton as I like what he brings to the team. (2) G - Ball, Mann, Simpson (two-way) (3) G - Sexton, Dinwiddie, Connaughton (3) F - Miller, Knueppel, McNeeley, James (two-way) (3) F - Bridges, Williams, Salaun (3) C - Diabate, Kalkbrenner, Plumlee
    • 3 main reasons he was better in 2023 and none of them concern me for his NFL prospects 1. Totally new coaching staff that was a massive downgrade and had god awful play calling and designs, the entire fan base was ready to run the coaching staff out of town a month into their first season and the play caller ended up getting changed because it was so bad. 2. Along with the staff downgrade, his QB played significantly worse after being the Pac 12 Freshman of the Year in 2023.  Constantly missed T-Mac when he was wide open, lost out on a number of TDs and a good amount of yardage, half the time T-Mac still almost made miraculous catches on the bad passes too. 3. He hurt his ankle over the summer and missed all of fall camp only to return to practice a few days before the season started and I think he had to deal with it all season long and was slightly limping at times mid season too, but kept fighting through it to still be a 1st team All American.
