Having grown up in Boston I am a huge Patriots fan and I would not want Newton to ever be associated with the Pats. If I were a Saints fan I would feel the same way. I realize the NFL will likely always harbor and lionize individuals of questionable character but that doesn't mean I want to see them in my team's uniform.

Here's a big shout out to COCOLOCO from the other message board.

I find it so funny that there are so many dumb people out there who actually think that Cam Newton has questionable character. Who makes this poo up? Great fairy tale. If he has questionable character what does that make the NFL people who have been accused of rape, murder and dui that has actually taken lives of others. This just pisses me off. Liars.

Damn you're actually the voice of reason over there.

Cam is 25 years old and just entering his prime. He has shattered multiple NFL records and redefined expectations for top drafted QBs in the league.

Brees has maybe 2-3 good years left? And what did that get you this season?

The Panthers have been absolutely cash strapped since Cam has been there. The next couple of seasons they will actually have money to give Cam legitimate weapons. The Panthers are going to dominate the NFCS for the next decade or so, while the Saints will be trying to rebuild while $27 million OVER the cap.

Yeah, we'll take the 25 year old, two time Pro Bowler all day, err day.

Hey Coco Loco if you read this, it's only a buck to register. But if that's too much for a Saints fan to afford, then I understand. We're waiting for your delusional Saints crap to get posted, and yes you can keep old man Brees. We will keep our QB who has an upside the size of the moon and is growing and maturing every year while Brees gets worse and worse every year. Lol at bitter Saints fans who were picked by some for the super bowl. Hahaha. How did that work out for you guys? Please ante up and pay the buck guys. It will go to a good cause. We're waiting for you Saints fans.

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
