Yeah, but I never really viewed them as one and the same. To me, the division thing was just a footnote to the playoff issue... To me the franchise history takes precedent and going our entire existence without two consecutive SUCCESSFUL/playoff seasons goes all the way back to our NFC West days...

That is a long time to have such a drought. So to me, that issue supercedes the NFCS issue, and is worth making special note of.
