Faulk Bold Prediction

Jackofalltrades

During the Bold Prediction segment today Marshall Faulk says Cam will out perform the Arizona Cardinals offense.

The media is very pro Panthers right now and it makes me nervous, especially since we don't have a real OC, however I think Faulk is onto something.

It's a testament to both our D (Lindley Effect) and Cam's ability.

I think Cam is going to explode today.  I think the whole team learned a great deal

from our mental mistakes last year against San Fran.  Everything I've read this week

tells me we've learned, we're focused, still excited, but more serious.  Every single player

has said the right thing, and the unsaid motivation is showing through.

No one seems to remember the injuries we dealt with the previous 2 seasons before last year.

We got healthy and we won.

This year has been rough, but we're healthy again.

Not to mention focused, hungry and pretty damn talented.

ain't skeered of no one right now.  Let's go to Seattle.

    • And you know this how? Stay in your lane, junior. I'm pretty sure I'm a lot older than you, am a whole lot more experienced with life, and have watched football in earnest probably longer than you've been alive. I agree, but I was talking directly about injuries. As far as the economics, I'm assuming that Moton would have to take a pay cut and would probably be compelled to if he wants to stay in Charlotte. He seems like a thoughtful and practical guy. He knows that he's getting older and realizes the nature of the business. Hell, last time there were were questions on whether he would be here the last season. Dan and Brandt were dialing up the pressure. I don't think they're going to go into any type of contractual extension discussions without having a backup plan--i.e., a person that will appear to be Moton's replacement. And, to be honest, that person may be Moton's replacement depending how things go. But, I get the impression that Moton wants to be in Charlotte (unless he's developed some undying desire to chase a championship somewhere else).
    • It would be pretty fun with something like this. 3 on 3 the first 5 minutes, 2 on 2 the next 5 minutes (after a stoppage), then 1 on 1 (after a stoppage) the rest of the way. I just feel like this would be equal parts entertaining and chaos to watch
    • I'm more surprised our odds to win the division didn't really improve that much after free agency (like +380 -> + 320). I threw a few hundred on us to win the division again at +425 back in February, just because I figured Atlanta and Tampa would get worse. After our free agency, I am still surprised Tampa is the favorite to win the division.
