Panther Fans - Save Your Money

According to the press and the rest of the country we need to save our money and not even board the plane to Seattle for Saturday's game. Here is one example:

Here is our look at 10 takeaways from NFL’s Wild Card weekend.

1. The Seattle Seahawks will Coast to the NFC Championship Game

You have to imagine that Seattle was rooting for Dallas to pull off the home win on Sunday, especially after watching the dumpster fire of a football game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals on Saturday. With the Cowboys win, Seattle will now play host to a Panthers squad that finished the regular season with a 7-8-1 record instead of a tough Lions team that won 11 games during the regular year.

In reality, Detroit would have been a pretty tough matchup for Pete Carroll’s squad. Its pass-rush heavy defensive scheme could have made life much more difficult for Russell Wilson and company. Even with Carolina’s defensive performance against an injury-riddled Cardinals offense, it’s hard to imagine the NFC South champions going into CenturyLink and making much of a dent.

Dent my ASS........Payback is going to be one MOFO.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
