Buying PSLs, looking for some help

You have to accept that some years you won't make money on the tickets...even in good years,

Depending on the opponent

I try to only sell to Panthers fans but they are less likely to want to pay full price...they talk big but when it is time to put their money were their mouths are, they don't.

The very best advice I could give you, as someone who has owned PSLs for 14 years, buy them for your own enjoyment..buy them because you love game day..buy them because you love the team, then win or lose and you will never be disappointed.

Understand it costs time and money and a commitment Every year.

Second this. Had mine for 9 years and agree with all points

I've thought about buying too but the whole "must sell the team within two years" of JR's death thing has me too hesitant. I would hate to pay up all that money for PSLs to only go 2 or 3 years and have JR die and the team be sold to someone looking to move it elsewhere.

My question to you. Why? If you want to go to all the games and sit in the same seats just buy the season from someone. There are always a ton of season tickets for sale starting a month before the season. After the initial buying to build the stadium it makes no sense to waste 2000+ dollars just so you can say you have psls. Then guess what if someone decides we need a new stadium in the next 20 years your psl is worthless.

Because you are not Guaranteed to have those tickets every year unless it is someone that you really know.  Also come playoffs good luck in getting those tickets.

As far as OP goes just make sure you can afford the yearly season tickets.  The Panthers have made it easier with payment plans but you also have to pay for the playoff tickets when we make them.  You always have to budget in those tickets right around Christmas so if you know you cant afford the $1000-$1500 for lower levels grab the upper level tickets.  Have had mine for 8 years and really enjoy them but it did get expensive at times traveling from WS and parking.  I spent close to $100 per game not including the tickets.

Is there anything that changes more than panther game tickets? During my traveling days that had stops in the queen, it was unreal. Some times people where nearly putting a gun to my head to take the tickets, then after a few wins plus PT they'd want 500$+ for the same ticket. It was like that for nearly everyone too. Plus I'm funny about where id sit, 500s is the only sections for me. My people and real fans....... keep the luxury BS away form me.

I understand wanting to seat in the same seat with the same fans..........., I'm just stop there. i have a poor opinion on psls and don't want to knock those who own them.

Not too concerned about selling honestly. I live a few hours north but any games I can't make my family should be able to pick up the slack. And I honestly don't see this team moving anywhere in the near future, fan base is expanding and charlotte is a great city to keep a team. Hopefully any future owners can see that. Pray for a situation ending similar to Buffalo's.

If you are still interested in purchasing 2 PSLs, I'm selling mine because my job hours has changed and I can't make most of the games next season

Section 511, Row 6,Seats 20 and 21. Aisle Seats! The seats are the closet to the midfield in the section. No one sits in front of you so no one will be standing blocking your view. The seats next to you are lifelong PSL holders too and are sweet elderly couple so you won't have to worry about opposing teams fans sitting next to you.

The team is selling 1 seat for $3,000.

I'm looking to sell now and will sell 2 seats for $3,000.

Transfer period starts Feb 1, 2015. I'm willing to meet the buyer at the stadium to complete the deal.

Buyer also needs to pay the $400 transfer fee to the team at the time of the sale.

Check out the attached picture of the section.

I own two and am buying two more because my boys are finally old enough to start coming to every game with the wife and I. Haven't ever tried selling my seats if I can't make a game. I give them to friends who are Panther fans. Also, I'm not some punk ass broker or lame ass Panther fan that buys ticket just to resell. Buy tix because you want to go to games.

I haven't read the fine print on what, if any, recourse PSL owners could have if somebody decides to move the team. I think we sign away all rights when we sign the contract. My plan was never to resell for a profit anyway so I didn't really look into that part too much.

I bought mine about half way threw this year and it's awesome for a die hard fan. Yeah, you still have tickets when we arent doing well, but you will also be guarenteed tickets for face, which is a big deal for the 3-6 high profile games we play at home each year that would normally demand well above face for decent tickets. I found my seller on Craigslist actually, and he was easy to deal with. My advice is to take your time and find some seats that are great for you. I looked for several months on nearly all avenues to find mine.
