Fret not! From that height, hitting water is as devastating as hitting concrete. An 80 foot fall into water is lethal.

It can be but people have fallen further and survived. People regularly jump off the Golden Gate Bridge (220 ft) and survive. Vesna Vulović fell 33,000 (thirty three thousand!) feet and survived on January 26, 1972 albeit she was in the fuselage of an airplane at the time. Heck a friend of mine was booted out of the army after his chute didn't open and he fell ~25,000 feet during a HALO exercise, but while I believe him it may not be all that true.

Oh and on topic: I'll stick with HC Fox for now thanks!

LOL...

Im pretty sure Fox would have a job in about 30 minutes if he was fired by the Panthers. I highly doubt he would just move over to DC and let Cower come in. Plus Fox is a 4-3 guy, and Cower is a 3-4 guy. So yeah, fail....

damn , Fail hurts so much more when Hayden says it. :(

okay I really like John Fox I almost love him, but I put most of the Cardinals, game on his shoulders. WHY WHY WHY WHY would John abandon the running game so early Jake should not have been throwing on half of those turnovers. With the best runnung game in the NFL we f*&^ing throw and throw and throw. That is poor head ccoaching either way you look at it.

    • Having trouble finding all these articles saying the Raiders withheld information. Here’s the latest from Crosby’s surgeon: ElAttrache told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning that Crosby was "doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery from surgery to treat a significant meniscus tear and the related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. He is certainly on track in his planned program." "We truly respect the work of the Ravens' staff with Maxx regarding the contract physical exam. We also understand the challenge the staff faces when tasked to provide a future risk assessment based on an evaluation early in the recovery process," ElAttrache said. "This is especially challenging when dealing with an elite player like Maxx considering the level of commitment necessary for a team to obtain him. The timing of this assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will lessen as his recovery progresses and his return to performance over the next few months becomes clear."     So the Ravens excuse is the future risk assessment based on the physical, not that the Raiders withheld information. They found an excuse to save face publicly. They had the right to cancel the trade for no reason at all, but they’re trying to save face with the most acceptable reasoning they can find. I’ve heard and seen the Ravens getting dragged everywhere for this. You know what would be an easy way to put a stop to that if you’re the Ravens and the Raiders were actually the shady ones withholding information? Just come out and say that you were not given all the medical information. But they aren’t saying that. I guess they’re just taking the bullet for the Raiders just because?    Speculation indeed.
    • Two first round picks for a guy with very questionable knees who will be 29 this summer. Yes it is safe to say the Ravens got cold feet.
    • The salary cap is the reason we got Phillips and Lloyd
