NFL Combine- WR's and RB's

Hoping my boy Ezell Ruffin has a good showing in the second group. Not a great athlete by NFL standards but he never had good QB play at San Diego State and they just ran the ball so much. He's got phenomenal hands, he is a strong-bodied solid WR that is willing to block in the run game. Little stiff in and out of his routes and runs upright but I am hoping he runs well today. Would like him in the 6th or 7th.

My man didn't run that well today but that was expected. Late 4.6-early 4.7 range but he's a gamer. Displayed soft hands in the other drills and he is great in run support. He is just savvy when the lights come on and can get separation without elite speed. Unfortunately his vertical was poor (under 30) as well as his broad jump. Not sure he gets drafted at this point but I'd love him as an UDFA to compete in camp. Guy is 6' 218lbs...decent size but not quite the athlete I thought he was. Thought he would jump much better.

No way he's getting drafted. He just didn't put up numbers that indicate that he's an NFL athlete.

As for bringing him in as a UFA? Sure, why not.

He looked probably 20lbs heavier than the few times I hung out around him. That didn't help him at all. Surprised he was productive as he was as a junior with those numbers. He'll probably have a decent career in the CFL if he goes that route.

Love what I saw out of Stefon Diggs and Chris Conley... two great over the top speed options... would love to see one of those two on the Panthers next year.

I loved what I saw out of Conley until it came to catching the football. He may have the worst hands of any receiver in this draft. The kid flat out can't catch.

as deep as this class is concerning WR, we could find a #2 possession type in the 3rd. Ginn or Royal can be had on the cheap in FA as our over the top #3 WR and both can return kicks, plus they are vets.

is there even a possible starting OT in this draft? if not, finding a safety or DB to draft in the second would be smart.

wouldn't mind trading out of the first for a couple picks because there is value in the middle rounds.

as hard as Cam throws the ball, any receiver with questionable hands should be taken off our draft board.

if we could dump Tolbert and draft FSU's FB/TE O'Brian would be a good way to go in the later rounds to replace Tolberts huge cap hit.
