From the skimming this article, SI thinks tampa will win easy cuase we have no second option to steve smith, and tampa's d is better than our running attack is good. Also they think julius is old. wtf...please give your input, and if im wrong or drawing the wrong assumptions from this article, feel free to let me know. :mad5:

Wow, this article is unbelievably stupid.

The guy makes fun of our 3 point win over Chicago but then calls Tampa's 3 point win (in overtime) against Chicago "gutty." He says our 34-0 victory ove the Chiefs was meaningless but fails to mention that the Tampons needed every bit of 60 minutes to put KC away. He then says they suffered a tough, hard fought and respectable loss to Dallas. Fine, but they lost to fuging BRAD JOHNSON and only put up 9 points against an awful Dallas defense.

If you are going to criticize the schedules, at least think about what you are saying. The results between the two teams have hardly been much different this year. Tampa struggled against Minnesota and Detroit just like we did. The only difference thus far is 27-3 and we all know that game would have been much different without the early blocked punt. This douche acts like this matchup is the defending SB champs against a high school team.

Good god.

I've noticed a common trend.

Analysts and writers clench to the nuts of whatever team is hot at the moment.

The Steelers beat the Pats the other day, now all of a sudden they jump 5 places in most power rankings and are the 3rd best team in the nfl.

Matt Cassel had 2 great games, writers said how he might be better than Tom Brady. Cassel had a bad game, oh we were wrong.

It's just the same dumb poo over and over. They don't take any time or effort to actually research their subject. They'd rather dress it up as flashy and strongly opinionated.

    • Oh I was.  But we still had great players.
    • You keep AT unless he WANTS to get traded to a contender during the season.  He's valuable, TET, XL, and Coker need to learn how to be PROFESSIONALS on game day, practice, and the off-season.  That's what you get from AT.  ADDITIONALLY, he is clutch.  He is steady.  At is that savvy vet who will always flash. I really think they keep 7 WR's if Brycen can operate on special teams.  Week 1 you may see us heavy on WR and OL because of the massive amount of injuries across the league.  Renfrow may even be cool starting on the PS since he lives close and wouldn't need to uproot his family.  You can still make nearly 400K as a vested veteran on an NFL practice squad.  You see more veterans hanging around since the age limit was lifted. I think the 1st 53 and PS looks like so...... Offense: (25) QB (2) Young / Dalton RB (3) Chuba/Rico/Etienee WR (7) T-Mac/XL/AT/Coaker/Renfrow/JHjr/Brycen TE (3) Tremble/Sanders/Evans OL (10) Icky/Lewis/Corbett/Hunt/Moten/Brady/Mayes/Yosh/Zavala/Kingston Defense: (25) DL: (6) Brown/Robinson/Turk/Bobby B/Cam Jackson/Sam Roberts OLB: (5) Wonnom/PJ2/NicSic/Princely/Incoon ILB: (5) Rozeboom/TW/Windmon/Cherelus/Bam CB: (5) Horn/MJ/CSW/Thorton/Evans S: (4) Tre'Mo/Ransom/Demani/Scott Specialists: (3) JJ/Fitz/Martin Last spot: Right now I have it as a toss up between DJ Johnson and Bam.  Until NicSic can come back we need an extra edge.  Do we utilize TW more as a blitzer from the middle to keep Bam safe?  I'm not worried about DJJ getting picked up from another team, a little more concerned with Bam. Practice Squad: DavidMoore/JamesMitchell/JacolbyGeorge/Tuttle/Crumdley/Ray/DJJohnson/Kantra/Carter/Blacksheer/ Wright/KrysBarnes/MichaelReid/Safety pick up/RB pick up/QB pick up
