Two Trades Today: Tlusty to the Jets, Sekera to the Kings

So this year the Hurricanes have turned Harrison, Tlusty, Sekera, and Gleason into...

- 2015 1st round draft pick from the Kings (lottery protected)

- 2015 4th round draft pick from the Coyotes through the Caps

- 2015 6th round draft pick from the Jets (could become a 5th)

- 2015 6th round draft pick from the Sens through the Jets

- 2016 3rd round draft pick from the Jets

- Defensive Prospect Roland McKeown

- UFA Defenseman Jack Hillen

Dwyer and McClement are also expected to be traded.

So essentially the Canes prospect pool is about to get a super boost.

Tlusty is a f'n plug. Can someone tell me what exactly he's good at?

I've been to two games since the trade and have seen him blow two chances at a empty net during the game and one chance right in front of the net. This guy cannot finish.

He's a JAG.

His only good year came in the lockout year when the Sweet TEA line (Tlusty. Eric, Semin) we're arguably the best top line in hockey.

He's a fringe second liner and an ideal third liner. Other than that I don't know what to tell you.

Makes sense, thanks. I just figured he was decent around the net for some reason but that's not the case at all.

Ha I like that line name though
