Report: Andre Johnson and Frank Gore want to hang with Andrew Luck will sign with Colts

No, but the signing of a 33 WR by the name of Andre Johnson would for many.

Only a few chumps believe AJ is done.  He still has a couple more 1,300 yard seasons in him. No matter what team signs him.

Gore........is basically done though,  unless he goes to a team with a great run blocking Oline,  ala the Cowboys.   I view his elite days as being behind him.   He will probably have around 600-800 yards rushing.

Combination of age and expected salary told me Johnson was likely not a viable option here, hence I was mostly indifferent to that entire discussion.

Generally speaking, I'm not that big a fan of the 'aging veteran' type signings, but they do sometimes have value.

With him being 31, I am sure his elite days are well past him also but the Colts will be ok with a couple of 800 yd seasons from Gore. They have other RB's to throw in the mix and won't make him the only workhorse, plus it's not like they are a run first team.

good points.

add in the fact that he is a "great" blocking back (not just good)  and he is really going to help that offense.

It has to hurt Texan fans to see AJ going there.

Colts trying to match the Patriots. They got obliterated by the Pats in the AFC Championship. Honestly they should be putting pieces together on the defense to stop Brady...their offense wasn't really the problem.

Beg to differ. Andrew was absolute doodoo in that game. In 4 years, Cam has never had a stinker on that level of Suck, with an S.

Go back and watch the highlights from that game.  Luck played fine in that game until they were down 24-7 in the 3rd.  Josh Cribbs got hit in the face with the ball early in the game to give the Pats an early lead, his RB dropped two huge throws early in the game, their defense couldn't stop Brady, and LUCK had a bad game?

Do all four quarters not count? His check down (what else?) dropped a pass, boo-hoo. I watched it live, not that long ago. 12-33, 126 yards, no TDs, 2 INTs. doodoo. Worse than Cam's "all time worst" vs the Saints here on TNF with an UDFA rookie from Montreal at LT. At least he had more yards and a rushing TD in that one.
