Can't fault a guy for the decision...and while I doubt you see top young guys walk away (Willis was old enough), decent young players and aging old stars could retire sooner than in recent years IMO.

People are made different. Some football players go all out throughout their whole careers knowing the consequences having that YOLO mindset, while some players feel the same way Borland does. Can't fault somebody either way.
