Anybody ever rehab a groin injury /possible sports hernia?

I've never had a sports hernia but I have had an inguinal hernia that required surgery. Is there pain every time you play or does it come and go? If there is constant pain, I would try relaxing for 7-10 days, take some aspirin and then see if the pain is still there when play again. You could also research some stretches to relax that particular area.

Not constant pain. But i can see when i use that range of motion or sadly, if i don't adjust a car seat and just the way you use your foot for gas/braking and that muscle right at the hip groin area. I'm surw my hammys and hip flexor sucks since i have done more cardio and ignored my core like an idiot.

Yeah I'm resting and rotating ice and heat for the next two weeks. Not even gonna go walking for 30-45 mins.

I've had two sports hernias.

It's a constant dull ache and you can see it protruding from your crotchial region.

They fixed both in one surgery. Went in through my navel and patched them up.

Was out of commission for a few days. Got some good drugs out of it.

    • Blowout incoming and the wheels fall off. Parsons will have multiple sacks, prob a FF. Media immediately starts saying the Bryce era is over
    • It's worth noting that we started playing something that looked like football after going down 17-0 against the Dolphins.  Up to that point we had rushed the ball 3 times and Bryce had two turnovers.   Then we ran it 5 straight times with Rico and he started cracking off some big gains and led to our first touchdown.  Another 37 yards of rushing later, Bryce goes 1 yard complete, incomplete, incomplete to get that field goal before halftime.  Then we committed big time to the run in the second half and played some really nice complimentary football.  The Panthers had stumbled on a formula, and it started with Rico being crazy productive.  Something they only learned because Chubba was injured and Bryce started that game so poorly they were forced to lean on Rico. Fast foward to Dallas, they essentially lean into the same game plan against the Cowboys and I think everyone was surprised by how quickly it started to look complimentary.  In my opinion the productive offense really helped the defense as well.  We played quite solid against a top offense. Finally we make our way to the Jets and Bills, Chubba's return.  You can't say the low scoring affair and return to ineffective football against the Jets was all on Chubba, they were indeed a better defense and so was Buffalo.  But the production difference between the two backs in both games was both visually and statistically obvious.  The bigger picture is the offense took a major step back as well.  They are other moving parts and it's isn't all one thing, BY9>Dalton by a decent margin at this point.   But yeah, Rico's vision and athleticism is just better than Chubba and it jumps at you.
