***LOVE THE TRADE***

LUUUUUKE

We gave up a 3rd and 6th and we screwed the Falcons and Saints by jumping in front of them and taking Funchess!

Take that NFC SOUTH

Love the fact that we moved up to get our guy, and screwed over 2 Division rivals from getting him. Love the pick!

No third rounder kinda sucks, but Funchess is a BEAST

I've come to the conclusion that Gettleman and I just don't see things the same lol... I give up.

That was way too much to give up for funchess, imo. And I don't see him as a WR...

I don't think he was worth all of that. I'm not going to bitch, but man, that's a lot to give up for another slow giant.

How are you going to defend all these giants? Cam 6'5, Greg Olsen 6'5, KB 6'5, Funchess 6'5. Its a very imposing team for any defense.

Not trying to nitpick you, only inform you, but Funchess is 6'4". Your point is still valid.

I agree, I love this trade! If we traded all that for a D player I would really consider boycotting this team, but we didn't.. You have to realize something, Gman is VERY conservative, a guy who constantly says he is against trading. If someone like that is willing to give up three picks for a WR, you know he has to be special.

I'm tired of never making splashes. Im tired of never making noise in FA and I'm tired of never moving in the draft, finally something to get excited about it!! Oh and those calling Funchess slow.. Alston Jeffrey ran a 4.7 and look at him. A have Ted Ginn and Philly Brown for our speedsters!

Now my minor gripe is I would have rather had Strong but I can definatley live with Funchess

    • Are you arguing that his height deficiencies and footwork within the pocket have not been a present issue clearly seen on his game tape particularly in the games he struggled in? Because that's simply denying what everyone in this fanbase who have watched the games have seen. It's interesting how hardline BY fans here quickly and effortlessly pivot from whailing about being victimized to becoming the aggressor and hurling out allegations of bias and hatred. And at the end of the day while Bryce Young clearly improved significantly from the first two games of the season the reality of the situation is he still finished 42nd in yards per pass attempt behind Mac Jones and tied with Caleb Williams and 38th in passing yards per game behind the likes of Gardner Minshew Aidan O'Connell Drake Maye and Will Levis. Furthermore it took Bryce Young 23 games to surpass Panthers legend Kyle Allen's 13 games worth of passing yardage in 2019. So if your argument is he became a head and shoulders better passer over the course of the second half of the season the reality is we're still waiting to see that growth this season. And there is nothing controversial or vitriolic about saying so in the mind of a rational
    • Cam regularly threw for less than 200 yards and nobody questioned he was elite. He averaged 219 yds per game for his career.  You seem to be way too hung up on yards as a stat.  By that definition Jameis Winston should have been MVP by now.
    • So... what metrics for production do you believe display these issues/limitations best? Are we only using total passing yards, height, and weight thresholds? If so, then what are those thresholds?
