A Bundle of Videos (Trip Down Memory Lane)

Was going through my hard-drive during the 2 hour break I have until my next class and found a bunch of old videos. I decided to upload them for other to experience all over again, and thought I'd come and share them at my favorite place to talk Panther football. It's also kind of neat to see how much better I've gotten over the years at editing (I.E. the yearly Panther vids IMO got better each year). But I think the real question however, is how tf was I able to make a 2010 highlight video?

Anyways, enjoy before the NFL and YouTube take them down for no good reason!

After the first one my eyes just quit on me. Can't see through this weird liquid. Making an eye appointment now.

Seriously I've never had more fun watching the Panthers than those Delhomme years. Just pure love of the game back then. What a friggin ride!

Thanks lilsmitty. Much love to all past players who helped lay the foundation...KEEP POUNDING! Let us not lose sight of our goal...when we hoist the Lombardi trophy, it will be a glorious day for those who contributed on the field as well us hard core fuggers in the stands...we believe!

I love rewatching old games. In the playoffs when we blanked the giants the camera men focused on rookie Thomas Davis. Every time he came up to the line he would kick dirt on the ball lol.

#47 at the time was only in on maybe 1 play all day.  How do you kick dirt on astro-turf?

I love him too but that entire game was Eli getting intercepted, Smitty's end around and the Goins/Foster show.

That and 2 missed fumbles (1 by Shockey 1 by Goins) because down by possession wasn't reviewable at that time.

There was no kicking of dirt onto the ball.  :)

Ah Jake. I hate that the tough ending caused so many ignorant fans to forget his success, his heart, his class, and most of all - his leadership. He's one of the good guys, and he did it the right way.

And he put together a long career with one of the best performances in Super Bowl history along with it. fug anyone who disrespects what Jake did for this organization.

Great videos man, thanks

I could be thinking of another game but it happened!!

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
