I just don't see how Hill is going to make it........I mean I really want him to work out for the Panthers but Devin Funchess looks a hell of a lot better in terms of comfort from the brief footage......

We only get to see small segments in a 90 second video. Try not to write off/ hype up anyone off these

Except it's the same thing that has plagued Hill since he's been in the league. I don't think anyone's jumping to conclusions here.

That was just one pass. You saw two more in that video of hill catching. People rushing to comment of a 2 second clip of him dropping a pass is totally myopic.

Hill looks slow. Maybe its cause of a year of inactivity

He doesn't just look slow. He is slow. Game isn't played in underwear, and his game speed is nowhere near his 40 time. Philly is faster than him on the field and his 40 was slower. And when you can't catch the damn ball you can't see the field.

Funchess looks big and smooth. Definitely a different type receiver than Kelvin.

It's so telling about the pre-draft rankings and breakdowns. Pretty much everything written about him was that he compares to Kelvin Benjamin and that was all the "experts" were saying about him. When we drafted him so many people criticized it because he's "a Kelvin Benjamin clone and the Panthers need a fast receiver." He's absolutely nothing like KB at all. He's very fluid and can line up everywhere. He honestly reminds me a lot of AJ Green. If he could turn into that good of a receiver, lookout. Cam for MVP.

Or maybe he's just not agile, maybe we're using the wrong words. He's probably on a straight line fast, but other than fly route he doesn't look quick and smooth running.

    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
    • It was always a matter of time with Cam’s playing style and a shorter shelf life than passers that protect themselves. I suppose Cam could have still been playing in 2028 ten years after the hit took place, but he would need to have evolved as a quarterback and become more of a passer than the dual threat maestro he was. It’s sad because it makes us think of what could have been, but I do feel it was always a matter of time until all the hits took their toll.
