I will point out that the Saints just gave him a pretty big contract though and they will miss him. And that makes me happy, because fug the Saints.

Seems most the Saints fans I've seen talking about this are pretty confident their Rookies got this. And stated that he's been playing lined up in the 2nd string. Sooo.....

i checked on saints report and they're not wallowing in despair like i'd hoped. they seem to think their backup guy can come in and do a nice job.

The back ups may be able to come in and produce? What we do know for sure is, at the very least they are having to replace a proven commodity, with an unknown and unproven one.

Looks like a "throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks" situation. 31 year old former Cowboy free agent signing Anthony Spencer, 2nd round rookie Hau'oli Kikaha, 5th round rookie Davis Tull, 2014 5th rounder Ronald Powell, and 2014 UDFA Kasim Edebali is the OLB committee they hope will cover Gallette's lost production.
