Gender-Specific Complaints

Captroop

Recommended Posts

So we just moved into our new office building, and my female co-worker remarked to me she hates the layout of the new bathrooms. She says the paper towel dispenser is on the other side of the room from the sink. I say, "so?" And she says, "well your hands are dripping water on the floor while you walk to the towels." I don't get it. So she asks another female co-worker, and almost verbatim, she says, "Oh, I hate it because you're dripping water across the floor when you go to get a towel." I'm blown away by this because the men's bathrooms are laid out the same way and I never noticed. Would this bother any of the guys on here?

Are there any other gender-specific complaints you've heard, or your complaints that would confuse members of the opposite sex?

I must be a woman, because I hate that.  My gym has two hand dryers: one that's next to the sinks, but another that's on the wall on the other side of the urinals, perpendicular to the urinals.

Main hand dryer in use, but someone's using a urinal?  Awkward.

Well if it's dripping on the floor, then tuck it back in your pants, dummy.

Disclaimer: I do wash my hands everytime I visit the restroom

With that said: I think it is a little bothersome when people make a big deal of washing your hands after you pee.

1. Was taught not to pee on my hands

2. Your junk should be cleaner than your hands

3. Your hands touch nasty poo all day

4. Your junk stays in your hopefully clean underwear all day (some Huddlers excluded)

5. Instead of washing my hands after I pee I should probably be scrubbing my junk in the sink....that air dryer would probably feel pretty nice

Women love to complain, it's in their nature and it's how they feel involved and communicate. It's almost a fault, women often believe if you're not openly and activity complaining about something, then there's nothing bothering you. It's hard for many of them to fathom someone who just doesn't complain. Thus the whole men don't communicate or talk about things argument. Of corse, they refer to it as 'speaking up', 'expressing yourself and not holding back when something bugs you', or 'standing up for something' rather than complaining, though that's what it is. Men on the other hand are more about action. If nothing can physically be done to remedy what is being complained about there is absolutely no reason to think about it or complain about it, even if it is bothersome, period. This is coming from the worst mistake of my life, a women's psychology class in college.

    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
    • Ok LT and Petersen are a cut above everyone else to me cmc and Faulk are interchangeable on this list.  though Faulk was better career wise
