lose out on every desired FA including Hardy and Wisniewski

Sherman and Thomas hurt, Thomas likely not ready by week 1

Bennett openly disgruntled, wants more $$$

Irvin option not picked up, openly wants out after this year

Okung using himself as agent, gone after this year

drafted felon with top pick who was off most boards

trade draft capital equal to #27 overall pick for Tyler Lockett in the 3rd

Wagner unsigned and not happy

Wilson unsigned and wanting the moon

Chancellor holdout?

One more thing, and reason to love GMan and this franchise.  Marshawn held out last year and they gave in to him.  The precedent was set and go figure-now the other whiny kids think it will work for them.  Love it.

      I'm more impressed with the UDFA that the guys they have drafted in the first the last 2 years. A whole lot of prove it is still needed before any improvement should be talked about seriously.

      While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant)  This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades.  While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson.   I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
