Do you think this stuff can really give an opposing team an advantage

Yes,

It can give some insight but since they weren't likely part of specific game-planning against the Eagles it isn't likely to give much more advantage over film study I would think. But since we are the first game of the year for the Eagles it is likely that this pickup is to aid them in planning against us imo.

won't need any signals to beat the panthers D. just get the ball to the receivers and exploit the panthers secondary.

panthers front 7 is decent and will look better than it has during the preseason but that secondary is going to be kind of porous.

best chance that the panthers defense is going to have is to take advantage of the weak, hurt, and overrated philly Oline. get to mcnabby and use the LBs to shut down westbrook.

They won't "need" signals to beat the defense, but it will sure make their jobs a lot easier. The Patriots didn't "need" to secretly film the Jets' practicing or whatever, but that sure made their jobs a lot easier.

Both of these guys are defensive players, so they're not going to help Philly prepare for our offense at all. But with that said, we have 20 of 22 starters returning, so it's not like there's a lack of game film out there.

I think the big thing Philly will want to know is how similar our new defensive packages are to the ones they ran in Indy. Fox sure didn't show anything in the preseason games to prepare with, and everyone knows the defense they saw will be different than the one that shows up.

Now that's just crazy talk. Have you seen what Gman has to say about that? You know he's always right!!

    • Buying the band lunch during an official function is one thing.  Buying transfers through promises of financial aid from individual coaches, donors, etc. is another. Now I'm not saying that's what Teddy did and I don't think that's what he did, so I think they are mis-applying the rules here. I find his situation different from say, what Pruitt was doing at Tennessee.  It's sort of like what Saban helped his players do. Buy them Ferrari's, lodging, etc. You know?
    • I agree, but I've already said that the players will definitely take more money up front because it's more security. But they want more guaranteed money and NFL FOs don't want to do that for several and various reasons, and that's what's at issue.  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-second-round-rookies-finally-starting-to-sign-what-took-so-long-and-what-it-means-for-future-contracts/ It's a tug of war between teams and players, and, sure, paying a player a signing bonus may satisfy them, especially if--and sometimes "only if"--it ultimately leads to a guarantee of more of their contract, but the teams are on the hook for all of those guarantees when cap time comes, so if they guarantee more money, they're ultimately losing the contract game.
    • TBH, these are the kind of players that get weeded out of professional sports pretty quickly. Also, CMC is not that guy. There is zero indication that he isn't competitive.
