If You're Watching BUF v. CLE Right Now, You Should Feel Even Better About Our OL

Specifically Oher...  Buffalo's outside rushers are absolutely destroying Cleveland's tackles and getting pressure almost every play.  McCown has already thrown two INTs.

I said last week that I thought Oher was impressive and watching this just reaffirms that.

Came here to post about that, and here you are.

Oher looks even better after watching the Bills beat up Joe Thomas.  And it's the LT position that has always been the key to our season, not who's playing #1 receiver.

Can't wait until Saturday to see if he does it again.

Is our offensive line actually good now? Because I thought they played pretty well vs buffalo. They didn't break the pocket and gave cam a decent amount of time to throw. Add in williams too. We may have a decent running game after all.

Man I hope so......that could go a long way in softening the blow of losing KB.  And Stewart staying healthy of course.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
