Clausen, Jimmy: A giver; a true rebuild tool

Hate? No.

Feeling Sorry for him? Absolutely not.

Does He suck? Like a Vacuum!!

This is totally Panther related. The Jimmy Clausen- John Fox duo is apart of the dreaded history that marked the need for an overhaul from the top down. It wasnt just the players that made us suffer, poor drafting, & poor management that brought us to that point.

It's also relevant because such events may have helped us trade for Jared Allen.

Byron Bell was a great guy....but I never wanna see him again either.

Cam loves Jimmy, they're good friends to this day. And Jimmy was always a class act here, even after Cam was drafted and he was benched. He seems like a good dude.

As far as on the field, the man has literally never had a fair shake. In Carolina he was thrown in as a rookie on one of the least talented rosters in football history. The OL was terrible, the only receiver he had was a disgruntled 89, the coaching staff was disgruntled and knew they were on their way out and the owner was tanking ahead of a lockout.

And if it's even possible, he's opportunity in Chicago might be even worse. He's with the same offensive illiterate HC, has a terrible OL, starting RB and both WRs are out with injuries and he made his first start on the road in Seattle.

He's not a good QB but he's literally never even had a chance.

Jimmy's NFL career is the equivalent of strapping 25 lb worth of weights on a Labrador and laughing at it when it gets outran by a Greyhound.

That being said, he's been cashing big paychecks compared to you and me. I can only feel so sorry for him. Good kid, thrown into rough situations -- he's survived and thrived. Best job in the world is the second string QB.

It's not the way I hold a football but that's probably because of hand size. I think a lot of QBs hold it that way of their hands are big enough.

i specifically remember Favre held it that way.

Favre had crazy long fingers.  He could almost wrap his hand around the whole football.  Its why he never truly needed the laces.  He could grip the ball from any position and let it rip.

It really looks like the 2010 Panthers in the 2015 Chicago Bears. The only difference is John Fox was on the way out in our case, and this is what his first year looks like in Chicago. Even when Cutler was dropping back in the beginning of the season they looked nothing at all like a prepared NFL team.
