Weird, I was just reading up on the old school Toxic Avenger movies yesterday and watched the "kid on a bike" scene.

I watched the original Toxic Avenger movie when I was about six years old. I remember being at local store to rent movies and picking that out. The young guy at the register looked at my mom like, "You have no idea what is in this movie do you?". I clearly remember watching it by myself, with the bewbs and uber-violent scenes. I think it in a way cemented my love for crazy, over the top horror and "cult" films today.

I never really got into Toxic Avenger. I like some Evil Dead with Bruce Campbell though.

Oh yeah me too.

Toxic Avenger was strange. They had toys and t-shirts marketed to kids, but the movies are over-the-top violent in typical Troma fashion.

 

The new "Ash vs. The Evil Dead" series on Stars looks fantastic.

Yeah I might actually have to get Starz just to see that. It premieres on Halloween.

      I would be quite surprised if he got more than a fine. Flopping has long been out of hand in the NBA. There were definitely some Heat players doing extra selling fouls. LaMelo seems to be getting quite a bit of hate on social media for the Bam injury though. And it is fair to wonder how the next opponent might defend him going forward knowing what happened. I don't think we can just be homers and dismiss it entirely especially after all the complaints we've made about the Pistons in particular. I think this group better be prepared for a very physical game on Friday.

      When you look closely at the play it was careless from Melo but bang bang full speed I don’t think it was intentional or dirty or deserving of a foul. Bam’s off balance momentum was already carrying him towards a fall and even if Melo didn’t touch him it may have had the exact same outcome. And honestly I think he did try to sell it more when he felt LaMelo’s hand. Dudes arms flopped back instead of bracing for the fall. Sucks he got hurt but a suspension would be ridiculous and an awful look for the league. Fine and move on
