THE UNDERRATED PANTHERS

Do you read Panther related sports articles? True/False:

What is the narrative when we are losing? Multiple choice question:

A.) Cam is a bad QB and he is the sole reason they are losing.

B.) The Panthers have not given Cam the weapons he needs to succeed.

I can't make it any easier for you to understand how you're wrong. If you disagree at this point then I'm done.

First of all the run games includes everyone. It includes wide receiver reverses it counts quarterback runs and traditional tailback and fullback runs as well. Several of Cams big runs were on designed runs, if you include them then you include the broken plays as well. We run the read option folks. Cam is not a QB on those plays as he never throws the ball. He runs it so he is runner pure and simple.

Taking him out as a runner when that is a big part of his game is like deducting passing yards thrown on screens or dumpoffs to running backs because they aren't traditional receivers.

it really doesnt matter who you play. good teams win, average and bad teams dont. atlanta is for real

Let me tell you this just like I told people two weeks aago.  ATL is a pretender just like the Cardinals. They have a new coach and aa new scheme so they are starting fast, beating bad teams that can't game plan. The true test for them will be NO. While NO is no where a great team they are not terrible. They beat a Dallas team that was supposed to destroy them.  If ATL blows them out of the water then watch out,  if not they are going to fizzle in December.

I'll bet we're #1 at rushing against 8 and 9 in the box, too. that's going to hurt our yards/carry.

i just read an article that proclaimed that part of the reason our "no name" (their words, not mine) receivers were having the success that they were is because other teams are loading the box against the run. I don't have stats to back that theory up, but it is consistent with what I've noticed in the games.
