Panthers draw highest regular season ratings in 18 years

With each passing win, the Carolina Panthers are getting more attention.

And with more attention, comes more viewership.

The Panthers Sunday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles drew a 13.6 rating/22 share on NBC, the highest rating for a Panthers regular season game in 18 years (1997 against Dallas), according to Bill Voth of Black & Blue Review.

To put that in perspective though: our SNF game was NBC's second-lowest rated one of the season.

the country in general have no idea who the Panthers are. All they hear is defense, run the ball. Which is true...and not many people like that style of football. Even some Panther fans don't like it. But its what the Panthers do, at least Tom Jackson was giving some love for this style. Real Football.

I know logically we are bound to lose a game.  It's just I don't see anyone other than the packers that we couldn't beat with our B game.

Falcons and Giants at home can beat our B game if they have A games. Can probably add the Saints to that as well. They almost beat us with McCown.

    • That's one of the most sober and honest breakdowns I've seen of Bryce.   That guys is being as real as can be.  No sugar coating, no tepidness to critique, blunt and straight to the point.
    • If you think someone shared some bad data on PFF (and falsely insulting your PFF) well....then you post the QB rankings and show where that  71.5 stacks week 1.   I don't pay for PFF and won't.  I just go off of what others say on PFF.
    • but it's pretty obvious, everyone who watches football simply knew....BY didn't outplay Trevor.   It just didn't happen.  And you didn't think it happened.  Because it didn't happen.  but, if you want to go back after the fact, slo mo film AND you just want things to of been better for Bryce?  Well, you can make that happen.   All you got to do is put on glasses and have the want.   You will find whatever you need.  Well, you know what....maybe he didn't botch that easy throw to Renfrow for a TD.  Maybe it was the pressure that forced a bad throw.  Everyone else could of been better.  It's really the OL that was bad.  Nothing he could of done now that I think about it.  Nevermind he could of just thrown it on time for an easy big play and the pressure wouldn't of existed....or the fact NFL QBs got to make it even with that type pressure.
