Luke Kuechly a Saints fan?

Who?

Anyway, the point I was making is Jerry Rice, HOF WR, is in a commercial donning Niners gear and Mike Ditka, HOF coach, is donning Packers garb. Those are the rival teams of the teams they were known for playing/coaching. When Luke makes the HOF, I wonder if McDonald's will throw him into the campaign, too.

The Niner's were Jerry Rice's rivals? Have I entered an alternate universe?

The point I was trying to make (with a humorous headline that I guess went over everybody's heads) is that the Niners and Bears fan bases have abandoned Rice and Ditka, respectively, for the commercials. If Luke were to do a commercial like that after he retired, would we have same reaction. That is all I was asking.

Yep, I thought the thread title alone gave it away.

Seriously, someone that dedicated to trolling an internet forum? Guy needs to get a life.

Wonder if it's Fat Alice. He certainly didn't have anything better to do with his time (like say, get a girlfriend).

Plus the Saints don't really have anything to brag about this year, so it's probably less embarrassing to pretend to be a Panther fan.

    • Sellers is absolutely one to keep an eye on. Could be the next Cam or could be the next Anthony Richardson. Curious to see how he has progressed come this fall.
    • I think Texas could go 0-12 and he would still go #1 based on his name and traits like you say.  But nusselman and sellers may be actually better qbs.    Man if bryce stinks it up this season its looking like a damn good year to swap out qbs.  Sellers highlights are just fuging jaw dropping
    • I mean, the kid comes from a wealthy family. It's not like he needs the money. He has a ton of potential now we get to see what he can do as a starter. Everyone penciling him in as the #1 overall pick is putting the cart way before the horse. It's 5% because of his talent and what he's showing on the field and 95% because his last name is Manning. And if he is what he's hyped to be the Texas coaching staff needs to be answering some tough questions about why the kid wasn't on the field sooner. Ewers was a good college QB but he's definitely not a "keep a future #1 overall pick waiting" type of college QB. Only getting one season out of a top NFL talent because you chose to keep him buried behind a borderline NFL talent is just coaching negligence. Not starting him as a true freshman? Yeah, I get that. But on year two if the kids is what he's hyped to be you gotta wish Ewers well elsewhere and turn the page.
