Jim Folsom (the guy that wrote Cam will be a bust) wrote another Cam article on a website that's much worse than Bleacher Report

The Carolina Panthers ran their record to 6-0 with a win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night. Many are talking quarterback Cam Newton up for the NFL’s MVP. If the MVP was truly an award for the most valuable player to a team, then yes, Newton is certainly that to the Panthers. And the Panthers might be the team that would nosedive the farthest if he went down. Although Dallas fans might argue with that right now.

But everyone knows the MVP goes to the best player, and that is Tom Brady. Nobody else other than Aaron Rodgers need apply. With Brady and Rodgers racking up touchdown passes by the bundle, two touchdown and three pick games are not going to get it done for Cam.

The fans are talking about how Cam doesn’t have a lot of talent around him. Yes, his receiving corps took a big hit when Benjamin went down in the preseason. But, I watch the Panthers and see a great team around him. That defense is about as good as there is in the league. Luke Kuechly is an absolute stud, he goes down for several weeks and they don’t miss a beat. The secondary is a pick six waiting to happen. And the Panthers run game is also pretty good.

Is Cam getting better? Absolutely. Is he one of the top five quarterbacks in the league? No. Sorry guys, he just isn’t. He’s not even the best in the NFC South. Drew Brees is still that guy.

But, that’s OK. Because what he is, is 6-0. And that is the ultimate measuring stick for a quarterback. You are what your record says you are and he is tied for first.

I'm just dead at this guy hating Cam this much.

I posted this:

The following are the combined opponent W/L of the Division leaders who have won at least 6 games (from toughest to weakest):

Carolina (8-0) opponent W/L: 29-36 (44.6%)
New England (8-0): 28-37 (43.1%)
Denver (7-1): 28-38 (42.4%)
Cincinnati (8-0): 26-40 (39.4%)
Minnesota (6-2): 23-41 (35.9%)
Arizona (6-2): 23-44 (34.3%)

How stupid do you feel now that the proven facts have made a mockery of your lazy, weak-minded meme?

He saves his best (read: worst) for the comments section of his own stupid article when someone tells him to let go of the hate lol

Maybe you should let it go. The guy is not the MVP. Probably never will be. I’m not going to worship him now just because he barely escaped draft bust status and now is on a hot streak against a bunch of sub .500 teams. Whether I show up at the game depends on you and Bleacher Report. I’m sure not showing up there so one of you lunatics can take a shot at me without some security guards. There are too many nut jobs in your fan base. Who do you guys got this week? Wake Forest? BTW, the Eagles would be a lot better if The Golden Calf of Bristol was starting instead of that loser he beat in the championship game.

    • I have started doing my research on these draft picks and I like this guy. But I'm am iffy on taking a TE in the first if isnt a flat out generational guy more importantly on this team where it's questionable we get the necessary impact out of him. I say if a top defensive guy at their position falls to 19th you jump on it and push this defense to an elite unit. The offense will do their part.
    • fans view “box safety” with the same disdain they have when they hear “game manager” QB. but there’s a reason most 1st round safeties are “box safeties”-it’s a much longer list of requisite skills to be a good box safety than it is to be a guy whose only real responsibility is to not get beat over the top. Fans crave the ed reed type and as someone who has never been able to enjoy this franchise having a guy like that, I get the enthusiasm-but I’m not really prepared to spend a first round pick on a free safety. If it happens it’ll be fun, it’ll address a need with a good player and that’s well and good. But those guys end up walking after their first contract because their pedigree usually outpaces what their teams feel like they’re adding to their overall win total.
    • Its criminal that the upcoming season is mainly in the tiny hands of BY.  I still member the time I did a full turn, if you member his first off-season from that Panthers all-time worst team....... Answering questions at his first presser, he goes along the lines " I didn't do nothing, no weight room or throwing" " I needed to get away". I was fully out with him, the guy didn't even try to improve his football mind, body, strength, in the biggest joke of panther football. I could not believe it, what a leader or dare say "point guard"(lols @ NBA point guards as a ref)
