Captain America: Civil War

After BvS this movie is going to crush and Marvel knows it. Anyone could tell that this movie was going to be better but I don't think we realized how bad BvS was going to be.

BvS would have been so much better if they focused solely on the BvS plot line instead of half assing both BvS and the JL story lines. If they made a tight 2 hour movie that climaxs with the battle between Bat and Supes and left Doomsday as a cliff hanger and let JL pick up with the trinity fighting him off but not defeating him then the second act is them getting the band together to stop Doomsday for good that would have worked so much better thematically and it wouldn't have made the overall story suffer because of it.

Civil War doesn't have the same problem. One overall story with lots of our favorite characters. Marvel just knows how to treat their IP's

I hate the constant comparisons between Marvel and DC..The fanboy fever will be at a all time high when this film drops with how BvS should have been like this and how much better it was.

Which all may be true. BvS had plenty of issues but I also realize they approach things differently even when the subject matter is so similar.

It's Coke vs Pepsi, McDonalds vs Burger King, tits vs ass. It's one of those things that are in constant comparison

True and I think its needed sometimes but I wish there was more nuance in the conversation at the very least more people would see DC and Marvel approach things differently.

The review embargo lifted yesterday, and so far the reviews are 100% positive. Many critics are calling Civil War the best Marvel film yet. I wasn't even very pumped for this until the Spiderman trailer came out, but now I can't freaking wait.

Not too mention one of the villains appears to be cast in the new Spidey standalone: Michael Keaton

Or, people could just enjoy them for what they are: entertainment. Being critical about a comic book movie? Really? C'mon, man!

Watch the latest Fantastic Four and tell me if you can still say that.
