The biggest difference between Rodgers/Brady and Alex Smith is the organization that drafted them and coach/system they've played under.  They're all 3 the same player.

I was actually thinking about R. Wilson as well. One of the big knocks by Seattle fans this year of him (and in the past), was-he'd would hold on to the ball too long, and take the sack or run out of bounds. This was because, he was afraid too throw it away, or into tight windows.

I know exactly what you mean in your example above. And there's certain truths and similarities. However, in fairness to Rodgers; he can at least buy time, then make some nice throws.

Brady can't throw under pressure. Wilson, can't see with pressure or survey beyond his first read, without throwing or bolting. And Smith gets skittish in the pocket as well.

Packers will lose, Rodgers is terrible playing from behind.

I've yet to see him compete a pass thrown beyond 5 Yd of the LOS.

He's a dink & dunk QB like Brady. And he's a stat padder who is more worried about his stat line than anything. He won't throw downfield unless his guy is wide open. He'll eat a 10 Yd sack every time over throwing into a tight window.

Not sure if serious..

This thread is full of stupid, people saying there are no threats in the playoffs if 1 team is "better" to Rodgers only being a dink and dunk qb

If there is a team that is better than every other team the only threat to them is themselves.

This isn't madden 16 this is the NFL..what do you think there is some magical fairy that designates whether a team is better? based off what? All teams practice and gameplan while some game plans are better and some teams get out coached none of that matters if a team plays harder. You can think youre better that someone but I guarantee you if that other person grinds and has the mindset that they are going to give it their all it won't be as easy a win as yoI think.

Did Rodgers pick on you when you were a kid or something?

You have an irrational disdain for that guy.

It's like reading a rival fan here posting about Cam Newton. Give it a rest dude.

OK so no teams in the NFL are better than other teams it's just the "mindset" and a team "playing harder."

Sign megatron in the offseason after he gets cut

My dream. And not because I want some big "splash" FA signing but because he would fit our offense and Cam and the locker room chemistry so well.

    • I thought this presented an interesting point. It is fair to wonder now, about switching the two QBs as so many tried to do that first year where Bryce was trash and CJ looked great.  It is almost the reverse scenario now and I wonder what CJ would look like here with better weapons better coaching and better protection. Overall, compared year one.  If each player had been in the other place for the three years. I would love to see CJ with this team now.  Just to see.
    • I really have no clue what to expect sunday.  To quote one of my favorite bands of all time, Operation Ivy "All I know is that I dont know".  We could win, hell we could win convincingly, we also could lose in blowout fashion.  We could be in a back and forth game with whoever has the ball last winning.  I legit HAVE NO CLUE.  This isnt the dominant bills teams of the past, Allen is still elite and can win any game by himself.  That said, heres my stab at looking at things. Our defense is made to stop this kind of team.  Strong against the run, a great corner but meh talent around the field.  We've stopped prolific run offenses this season.   Javonte Williams - Season low yards and ypa against us. De'Von Achane - Season low yards and ypa against us Breece hall - 3rd worst yards in a game Fact of the matter is, we arent what we were last year, we are a good run defense and that lines up well against the bills, Stop the run.  For once the lack of moving Jaycee might be a good thing, he will essentially lock down a side and without multiple real weapons thats fine.  Buffalo does not have an elite guy, theyve got a gaggle of average dudes.  Allen will stay away from Jaycee, it will be on Mike Jack and Chau Smith Wade do to their part and they will be matched with guys they can play at the level of. On offense, we do what the bills are bad at.  We run the ball well, and they suck at stopping the run.  Rico and Chuba will need 30 carries.  Andy Dalton will need to be opportunistic.  My big fear is what we learned last year, Dalton can get overconfident and make bonehead throws.  Its this simple.  Run the ball, stop the run.  Dont turn the ball over.  If we do these 3 things, we will be in a position to win in the 4th quarter.
