I wonder how quickly Finnegan can pick up the playbook? Probably going to need him so the slot receiver doesn't continuously rip us down the field for 7-8 yard gains. Hopefully he stayed in game shape during his time off

Feels like we as a team got all of our devastating injuries early in the season. Two men who are hurt, one of whom is nearing 35, Cant complain there. Both will be back before the play-offs start too.

I don't think game shape will be the problem for Finnegan.. but picking up the playbook in a few days is a tall order for anyone. Especially with the way that McDermott and Luke like to change coverages and schemes so much on the fly. I think Jones will probably get 80% of snaps Sunday unless he is just getting absolutely roasted

Which he will be, so then Cortland will come in.

Slot still the weak spot on the defense.  Colin Jones has been burned and Finnegan hasn't played NFL football in almost a year.  Watch the Saints line up Cooks in the slot and get a deep TD.
