I assume that picture was taken from Duke Energy? Great view. As a Tennessee grad, I don't care about either of those teams but it would be cool to see UNC pull the upset and make the playoff.

They're ranked 10th in the Committee's poll.  No way they make the Playoff.

I gotta say, if UNC pulls out the win over Clemson it would cap a great week for it's football and basketball programs, with the basketball team having also beaten #2 Maryland earlier on Tuesday.

It would be nice, but unfortunately Carolina isn't allowed to lose a game and still make the playoffs like some teams are..  Even if they do beat the number one team in the country

Of course they're only ranked 10th right now we've only beaten 1 ranked team. However, a win over the unanimous #1 team in the nation could change things drastically. The committee has said and shown many times that the previous week's rankings are irrelevant when new polls are being created.

My thing is with that, they didn't let TCU and Baylor in last year because of a lack of SOS and OOC opponent.  What makes you think they change things now?  Because one one upset, when UNC hasn't beat a Top 25 team all season.

Not true. Pitt was ranked when they played. Also, Duke vs UNC would've been a top 20 match up had Duke not gotten screwed in the Miami game. It's not like any of the other teams on the bubble have played a gang busters schedule either. Clemson and Stanford's best wins were close games over ND who was decimated by injury.  Ohio State has only beaten one ranked team as well and they will not be a conference champion.

dont bother with him.. he used to be a heels fan and he completely jumped ship when he got into oklahoma.. now he's a sooner homer. he has totally forsaken the tarheels  in all things

Lol. I won't be bold enough to say if we win we're definitely in. But, I definitely think we have a more realistic shot than the general public perceives.

• UNC win + Stanford loss = UNC is in
• UNC loss + Stanford Win = Stanford is in
• UNC win + Stanford win = who the hell knows?
• UNC loss + Stanford loss = Ohio State is in

Of course this is all assuming Alabama wins. If Alabama was to get knocked off poo would hit the proverbial fan! But they should win by at least 20.
