I will be surprised if they suspend him even though its the correct action. Yesterday was unacceptable.

A suspension is a foregone conclusion. He really gave the league no choice. You can't go out there targeting a guy on the field, trying to hurt him. I think multiple games wouldn't be far-fetched.

A one game suspension is essentially the ejection he should have gotten yesterday, just delivered late.

I've seen a jaw dropping number of Giants homers on Twitter calling for Josh to be suspended as well. Ridiculous.

I will say this though, despite OBJ being the true dick in this situation, because of this exposure, I believe Norman will have a very short leash in upcoming games from the officials. 

He usually gets away with a lot of extra stuff, maybe not anymore.

He is going to get fines totaling at least over $50,000 as mandated in the CBA in addition to a suspension and loss of game checks that come with it. $17k for each punch of which there were at least 2 and I think 3 since he is a repeat offender from the Buffalo game then $23k for spearing Josh then 2 more fines for his other two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. It could be around $100k just for him. Josh will probably get around $25k in fines which seems appropriate since he wasn't exactly innocent yesterday. OBJ deserves everything he is going to get. I think I would be fine with him getting $100k and 1 game. I think he deserves $100k and 2 games. Sit his ass for the rest of the year. Screw that POS.
