Not saying I'd want Carolina to hire Malzahn but, if you're going to make a valid comparison, you might want to check Malzahn's offense numbers with Cam rather than his numbers with Jeremy Johnson/Sean White.

I seriously doubt the head coach of an SEC team, and a prestigious one at that, would leave that position where he has total power to be a coordinator in the NFL.

I doubt he could run Shula's system based on the simplistic one he has installed at Auburn.  It has taken Shula almost 5 seasons to actually teach Cam how to read defenses and totally learn a pro offensive system.  Don't know we want to go backwards.  There is a big difference between putting in a no huddle read option system that a 18 year old can pick up and run quickly and the complicated system Shula has put in place.  That doesn't even include the difference between a college defense and a pro defense. His system works very well in college but as Kelly just showed everyone, that system doesn't always easily translate to the pros.

You guys realize Cam's pass/run ratio was basically 50/50 in college right? I don't think any of you want him returning to anything even resembling that kind of balance.

No I saw it.  I was just pointing out what my concerns would be.
