That there has been a "Players Only" meeting at BoA if not for the whole team but surely in certain areas ( Offfense/Defense). If we go into the Crow's nest Sunday and pull out a win, I'm sure sometime later on we will hear about this from one our local "award winning" journalist. Of course the doom and gloom crowd will say things like "so what meetings can't save this team, blah,blah,blah...we suck...blah,blah,blah". I'm not saying it's going to or has happened, but contrary to all the chicken littles out there some of these guys care about what they do.

Unless in that meeting they discuss how they are going to ignore Fox and Richardson's lame playcalling and do there own planning/calls for the game.....the meeting won't be THAT effective.

Great talent and heart can be put in a position for failure.....we have seen that the last two games. They (imo) realize that.....one wanted out inbetween those two games and we bashed him for it.

Sorry. Davidson. Fox and Davidson's lame playcalling. Tiger Woods makes typos also, cut me some slack. I have a million negative thoughts going on from THE Richardson down to the waterboy. You knew exactly what I was saying. Fox and Davidson's playcalling is the biggest problem the past two weeks.

I'm still in a state of shock that what we witnessed Sunday was after our coach's game planning? Really, that's the best they could do? They didn't expect different blitz schemes and plan for them??

Nobody ever told them that you could stand a DE up in the middle like a MLB and let him rush the QB. If they had known it could be done they would have tried it with Peppers so he wouldn't get held by the OT every play.

    • Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.
    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
