Yo!  Whats up Hatter?  Didnt get to come back to the tailgate after the game.  It was a blast hanging out!  Hope I make the next one.

Same here buddy.  I was not able to get back to the tailgate late morning.  Buddy got me on the field to do the Anerican Flag during the national anthem.  We had to practice for about an hour before the game.

Speaking of communication.....Luke was ripping Finnegan a new butthole after a couple of compilations yesterday.  LOL.  I love Luke and he has no problem chewing people's ass when they're out of position.  I'm sure it makes Rivera's job easier having a guy like that around.  Luke is so intense on the field and seems so mild mannered off the field....it's fun to watch.

That's what you want to see....leaders being leaders.  Sometimes that means a friendly reminder...sometimes that mean s boot up someone's ass.

There are no QBs left that can scramble to keep the play alive. I think our D line will get the job done from here on out. We are built for the front 7 to control the game and not let the WRs have time to get deep.

Arizona hasn't allowed many sacks this year.  Carson Palmer may not be able to run around as well as Wilson, but he is better at getting the ball out quickly.  That being said, I do think our front four might be able to get pressure without blitzing so much.  And yesterday's performance was encouraging, with 3 sacks from our defensive line.  Charles Johnson got his first sack in a while, and hopefully that is the start of a trend of improved play from CJ.

Our defensive secondary is built around communication and continuity. You have to play with guys and communicate in real game situations, practice helps, but the speed and game atmosphere change how players deal with this.  There will be miscues with anyone out there. It's all in minimizing what happens when you mess up. You can't throw a guy out there in an NFC Championship game with the thinking "it can't be worse than the other guy" because it can. Knowing where you are weak (being able to expect that weakness) is MUCH better than having NO IDEA how a player will function in the defense. You can account for that, when you know what to expect.  Relax. This defense has ALWAYS (for the last 3 years) been a bend but don't break defense. It's in the scheme. You play off and then make the tackle in the open field. When a play absolutely needed to be made, it was. Harper on 4th down tackling Lynch, Luke deflecting a pass downfield on a missed coverage, hell, McClain came back with a pretty nice pass deflection later in the game. Our DL pressure was tremendous, RW was able to move enough to get the ball to the open receiver and in zone coverage THERE WILL ALMOST ALWAYS BE AN OPEN RECEIVER. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. This team has played like this for 17 weeks the entire season. Enjoy the ride.

Thank you dude. I love you.

Damn right. He looked ready to kill in the Post game interview. It wasn't till the locker room one he chilled a bit.

He is fired up, we let it go in the second half. Let him and the coaches fix the D.

You people need to quit thinking anything you say matters. There is only two words us as fans need to say. Keep Pounding. I didn't hear that chant once yesterday. fug, I was screaming that poo from my living room. So please quit thinking your a coach and do your jobs if you call yourselves fans.
