we should try to use mike goodson like New England uses kevin faulk...seems like he could do a good job playing that role....all of our running backs can catch the ball..we should have used them more on checkdowns against the eagles....i just dont see why jake couldnt get rid of the ball quicker given the the pressure he was seeing....i think that could have been the play calling...feel like our offense generally doesnt use a lot of quick timing routes....tom brady does such a good job getting the ball out quickly and allowing guys to get yards after the catch

i know its stupid to compare our offense to theirs...but its just so hard to watch new england play,and then try to understand how our offense could look THAT bad, because they make it look so easy

Jake doesn't get through 2 progressions before chunking it. Checkdowns...screens even are painful for him.

I say use him more like a Wes Welker type player. Quick underneath routes and free up Smith to spread the field.

i like that too...

does anyone else feel like our passing offense hasnt ever really been good at executing quick timing routes??? is it jake or the play calling?

If you ask Sherrod Brown...he'd tell you playcalling...cause he and 2 other dudes seem to know exactly when Smith was the hot route.

Spamming? I thought this was a Panthers message board? Last time I checked Matt Moore is a Carolina Panthers so I don't see what I'm doing wrong...

Post something of substance to a thread....don't keep posting the same crap. We get that you have a major hard-on for Moore...we get that you want him to replace Jake. Enough is enough....move on or STFU.

      He's a hard player to rank, cause he is a young NT. I do see his abilities to branch out among the DL. That's the only way for him to land in the 1st, some team has to believe he's got the stuff to play DE or T3.... I just don't see using 19 on him, I feel there should be around 7 players just ranked higher than him for the Panthers team.  ___________________________________________________________________   Now you are a roster nut like me. That tells me to trade up! Bonus the 1st+3rd gets in front of TB yucs. Then use one of the 5ths+2nd to draft another target. That's your two starters and use the 4th, 5th and 6th for the development OTs and what ever the best player are at the pick/DB. The last couple years they have added 2-3 UDFA each year, maybe the same this year too. Soooooooo Im normally 95% trade back, but above made me change my mind. I do not want to waive 5th rounder, I feel thats high with players on the bench.    ?? There's waiver claims too, they have done that each year.
