Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott and DL Chris Jones were the biggest scouting draws at MSU's pro day Thursday, with Prescott throwing more than 60 passes under the watchful eyes of quarterback coaches Ken Dorsey of the Carolina Panthers and Randy Fichtner of the Pittsburgh Steelers

Gilbert was put through his positional drill paces by Colts assistant OL coach Joe Gilbert. The 6-foot-6, 307-pounder believes one of his strongest attributes is his versatility, as he's played both guard and center. Said Glasgow, "I think that’s probably a big thing, that I’m pretty versatile. I feel like I play both at a pretty high level, so I think that’s just something that a lot of NFL teams with limited rosters spots value." NFL Media senior analyst Gil Brandt sees his best position as center. In the coming weeks, he has workouts set with the Cardinals, Texans, Panthers and (maybe) the Falcons. One other tidbit Glasgow dropped following his Pro Day work--he will likely be playing Call of Duty when the draft rolls around, checking in intermittently before returning to destroy some noobs. A nice reminder that for all the scrutiny heaped upon draft prospects by grown men, a lot of these players are still just kids at heart.

I wonder if Clemson players don't count toward the workout maximum, though I'm not sure they're close enough.

 Some clarification:

1) You can any number of workouts, as long as it is not at the team facilities. So that can be at the prospect's school etc.

2) You have a limit of 30 visits of prospects to your facilities. Here you meet with them(have dinner after), show them around, interview. However, you are NOT allowed to actually work them out.

Forgot where I got the rules of this but that's how it goes.

Right, and I know there's some leeway when it comes to meeting with guys within the scope of your team, hence all the visits from local schools.

Looks like I missed one, another Clemsonite:

    • Just like WR, you thin ignite and then suffer an injury and you are scrambling.  Any RB could have run through some of those those holes though and maybe you don’t get the same xtra yards but you are getting yardage.  It is the pass catching they will miss the most.
    • Without Sanders, they are stil catching balls. Sanders is about a giveaway to it will be a pass play.   Also, hoping we see the competition at RB keep both guys on their toes.
    • I was talking about pre season hype vs now.  They were talking about him being the best route runner on the team and being unguardable.  Putting people in the blender.  He has had 1 catch the last two games, and before that it was 2 per game. I like Renfrow, but it seems him and Bryce are not on the same page.
