I'm a grown man and realize at the end of the day, it's just a football game. I'm not going to let it ruin my life, week or even day. I am so proud of this team. Nobody thought we could win even win the division. Then KB went down and we were going to be one of the worst teams in the league. Well instead, we steam rolled through the season looking like one of the most dominant teams in NFL history. Our guys especially Cam will come into next season working harder than ever. The taste from this loss is something that's going to make us very scary for so long. We have obvious areas in need of improvement. DG and the staff aren't idiots. I truly believe they will do what is necessary to put us over the hump. I wouldn't want to have to face our team next season. We are going to be scary. Plus that Super Bowl experience will be so valuable.

 

Now to what I am mad about. The attitudes and behavior of some of the posters on here is down right embarrassing. What a collective bunch of babies. It's incredibly pathetic. Don't let a game ruin your life. Jesus. It's not the only chance the Panthers will ever have at a Super Bowl

Tell that to Dan Marino

Hell, I know we were not supposed to win this year.  Four years ago I predicted we win Super Bowl LI.  I like our chances next year, or any that GMan is at the helm.  But nobody can say For sure that we will get another chance.

I was a Dolphins fan in 1984 after Marino put up the greatest QB season of all time to that point and the only thing that provided me solace was the thought that he was only 24-25 and would get many other chances to win a SB.  Guess how that worked out.  You can NEVER afford to piss away a Super Bowl because getting back, much less winning, is never guaranteed.  We could make the playoffs the next 10 years and never sniff a SB again.  Saying 'wait til next year" is the retort of those who clearly don't know any better.

I agree but wanted to get the point across that, at that moment in time, Marino was of a stature even higher than Cam is right now and he never got back so everyone saying we've got plenty of time might be mistaken.

im mad at the manner in which we lost..had our offense left everything out on the field like the defense then id have no problem..but the offense played like they were just happy to be there..been a fan since the teams inception 21 years two appearances and no trophy..it had been 12 years to get back..i hope it isnt that long again.

Agreed.  Marino was the Ted Williams of the NFL.  Unfair that he never won one

Mad no, disappoint, highly. the way we lost no football fan could be proud of, multiple self inflicted wounds.

 

it may be just a football game to many but others put time,money, and pride into this team that's not something you can easily forget, especially when your team performs like ours just did.Hats off to the guys who dish out some serious cash this season, i know you're as disgusted as i am with this performance

Maybe you're not mad because your used to losing. You don't have to let it ruin your life but you can still be mad about it... it's okay, some people get mad, some don't. Everybody doesn't have to react to things the same way as you. Or, you know, just continue judging people because they care about something enough to get upset when it goes poorly.
