Peyton Manning's Sexual Assault Case

If you need another reason to disregard the media's critique of Newton, just take a lool at their treatment of Newton and Brady compared to Peyton and Aqib Talib. No evidence against Brady, Newton was crucified for being upset after the biggest game of his career. Peyton rapes a girl and takes HGH, and Talib INTENTIONALLY tries to rip Philly's head off. What were the two biggest stories? Newton and Deflategate.... and that is why the media is a hoax

Sarcasm I hope! It was a little blurb in the "in other news" section of the paper, but I remember it trying to be a "thing"

I honestly don't. I went to UF, too...I'm surprised some Gator friend of mine didn't pass this along as I would've taken great joy in hearing about it sooner.

...while Newton may dab every now and then and walked out of a single press conference, he at least had the decency to greet Manning on the field after the crushing loss and shake his hand—which is more than can be said of Manning.

Yes, following his 2010 Super Bowl loss to the New Orleans Saints, Manning refused to so much as shake the hand of opposing QB Drew Brees on the field—or any of the Saints for that matter, even though it was his father’s old team—instead storming off the field and into the tunnel. Say what you will about Newton’s presser, this exhibited far worse sportsmanship. And was Manning ripped apart by the media? No, in fact they even went as far as to defend him.

“Walking off the field without congratulating Drew Brees may go against our misguided notion of what sportsmanship should be, but it wasn’t at all disrespectful or bitter,” wroteYahoo! Sports’ Chris Chase. “It shows how much Peyton Manning wanted to win the game. And who can argue about that?”  http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/02/10/peyton-manning-is-a-far-bigger-prick-than-cam-newton.html

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
